Anti-seasickness glasses: how do they work?
Boarding Ring's Anti-Seasickness Glasses is a simple and innovative solution: this patented medical device Boarding Glasses contains a blue liquid that reacts to the acceleration of the boat. The liquid moves around the eyes in the frontal direction (left-right), and in the sagittal direction (front-back). It creates an artificial horizon at the periphery of the visual field, without disturbing the central vision. This gives the eyes access to the reality of movement again, the sensory conflict disappears instantly and the motion sickness disappears in a few minutes
Who is Boarding Ring?
Boarding Ring is a startup located in the Toulon region (France). The adventure began in 2015 with an ambitious mission: to treat kinetosis (motion sickness) with a novel approach that targets the cause rather than the symptoms. The company is run by brothers Antoine and Renaud Jeannin and markets Boarding Glasses, the result of extensive research work conducted by their father Hubert around sensory perceptions. A unique and patented solution, whose effectiveness has already seduced more than 40,000 users around the world.
